My Saturday night was spent in the second best place to watch an Ole Miss football game in Oxford -- The Library.

The 15 seconds that we led Alabama was an absolute madhouse. The other 59 minutes and 45 seconds were fun, too. There were cheers with friends, beers with friends, kickoff shots with friends. Spontaneous outbursts of Hotty Toddy, a few Beat Bama's, and a From Dixie with Love.

I truly believe that being an Ole Miss fan is different than being a fan of any other team. Granted, we do have our fair weather fans -- but most Rebels that I know are die hards. When we go up against Bama, we have hope that we'll win. And when we don't, we're just as excited about how good we played. And how much fun we had. And that's really all you need, right?

Hotty Toddy Rebels!

This Saturday, the newest member of the SEC, Texas A&M travels to our town to take on our Rebs. I've been told that we won't be big fans of the Aggies. Hopefully we'll show them how it's done in Oxford for their first visit. With lots of drinks, good food, class, and a nice ass whoopin'.

We're gonna beat the hell outta you! Hotty Toddy! Gosh A'mighty! Who the hell are we? Hey! Flim Flam! Bim Bam!

  1. Oh my gosh, no. Stop making me want to move back to the States for football. I miss it. They've started showing the NFL here, but it's...not the same. :'(
