Well, I'm late again. And somehow, I haven't posted since last month's goals list. I took an accidental hiatus from blogging. That's a mini goal of mine this month. I'm ready to jump back in. Especially reading blogs. I've skimmed here and there, but I really have no idea what all of you lovely people are up to.
My October goals were about as nonexistent as my blogging. I had my idea for my Halloween costume early in the year, but it just didn't pan out. I came up with another last minute idea that didn't quite work either, so I just went in regular clothes. Albeit, those regular clothes were a skull dress, black leather jacket, and black combat boots. I always go all out on Halloween and I was upset to have missed dressing up, but I didn't want to half ass a costume. I ate breakfast on mornings that I worked out, but not every day. There were a lot of 10am trips to the vending machine in October. Also in October? Lots of vacation days and sick leave...meant lots of missed workout days. But I'm still getting there.
Read at least one new book.
Rework my budget.
Blog at least once a week.
Start Christmas shopping.
Reach my missed November 1 goal by November 30.
I've reread old books this year, but I have yet to read a new book all year long. Gone Girl has been on my list for ages, so it will be the first one I pick up.
I haven't been keeping up with my budget very tightly. This month, I will. At least, I'll get it organized.
I miss writing. And I have lots of stories to share!
I almost always wait until the last minute to get my Christmas shopping in. If I just get out there and buy a few gifts at a time, it will be less stressful (and more helpful with that budgeting)!
I'll be posting an update on The Skinny on Being Skinny this Friday. (Where I'll obviously tell you that I did not reach my November 1 goal.)
And yes, I'm back to 5 goals for November.
